2025 – during the Lausanne Underground Film & Music Festival / LUFF
A series of sound-based creations and interventions circulating between the festival’s venues and the airwaves of its radio station, no-fi explores the potential of distortions—of sounds and objects, as well as of spaces. Through the voices of strange (loud)speakers grafted parasitically onto existing sound systems, no-fi invites LUFF’s radio to distort geometries and attentions. Brought into material form by Manon Briod and into sound by Gwen Grossfeld, no-fi distorts in order to overturn power structures and free itself from forms of control.
